Murphy's Story...

Meet Murphy! He is a very happy, wiggly young Lab, only about 5 months old. He is just learning about life, being a good dog and how to charm one more cookie out of his foster mom! He caught on to crate training and house breaking very quickly. Now we are working on walking nicely on the leash & not jumping up.

Because Murphy is still young, he has a lot of energy! He loves to play fetch, so he will need a home with a nice back yard for play time and an owner who is dedicated to spending time with him. Remember that "A tired dog is a GOOD dog!" Murphy gets along great with other dogs and would really enjoy having a dog buddy to play with, too.

Murphy is a healthy boy, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention and neutered. He is all ready to find a new home where he will get the love and training needed be a happy, well balanced Lab.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
