My story

Hi People!

My name is Triixie, and I am a tiny little girl of about 8 lbs, and maybe a year old. My ‘aunties’ at BFK think I'm a mix of Bichon and cuteness. And just like my name, I am a little, sparkling, mischievous creature who will make you smile.

I am having a wonderful time with my foster family. I love my Mom and Dad and the friends who come to visit. I guess you could say I'm a social diva. And it’s not just people that I like. One of my favorite things in the whole world is to play with the other furkids in the house – or in the yard. Dad says I come up to them with a happy look, and off we go!
Chase a ball? Run in the yard? It's so much fun.

Even though I'm full of energy, I know how to behave like the very good girl that I am! Mom taught me how to go out the doggie door when I need to. And when we take a trip in the car, I ride quietly, not making a single peep. At bedtime, I go in my crate too, like a good girl. (Even though secretly, I would looooove to sleep on the big bed. Maybe someday….)

If you ask me what my favorite toy is, guess what I will say? It’s you! I love to play with my people or just hang out with them. My heart belongs to people (and there isn’t a lap I wouldn’t love.) I love to be picked up in your arms, and will stay quietly as long as you will hold me! And whenever I'm tired or just relaxing, I just crawl up on Mom or Dad’s lap, curl up in a ball and go to sleep.
