Indiana Jones's Story...
Indiana Jones
3 year old
Black Male Persian

Indiana Jones is a funny little dude. He starts out very shy and timid but after a couple weeks of settling in he becomes quite the adventurer. He loves playing with catnip mice and chasing a laser pointer, he is super fast and will jump halfway up a wall to get that pesky red dot! He also loves shoes, the stinkier the better, he will roll on them and then curl up for a nap with his head in where your toes go. He gets along well with other mellow, laid back kitties but he does have a fondness for antagonizing the diva kitty Isaline that he shares his foster home with, she is fussy and gets quite snippy when he's around, it seems as though he follows her around just to see her fuss. Indy loves to be held and enjoys getting brushed, he is a bit odd with his litter habits, he likes to have a puppy wee wee pad next to his litter box for #2s but he always uses the box for #1s. Indy loves his wet food and will patiently wait for it. Please contact Jen at 707-301-6540 or email jennifer@purebredsplus.org for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indiana Jones, a Davis Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
