Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Marnie! This sweet girl has a name that means "rejoice" in Hebrew, and she is definitely rejoicing to be out of the shelter! Marnie is about 4 years old and is a beautiful chocolate color. Her fur is soft and shiny, and it is evident that she belonged to someone in the past. She appears housebroken and knows commands like "sit," "shake", and "down," although she could probably use a bit of a refresher course with basic commands and leash training. Marnie is a little overweight at 85 pounds, so with a proper diet and exercise she will be well on her way to reaching a healthy weight. While Marnie did find herself in unfortunate circumstances, you would never be able to tell. She has such a zeal for life; it is remarkable. She is always happy, always "smiling," and her favorite thing in the world is a tennis ball. Marnie will play fetch for hours, and sometimes you have to hide the ball so she realizes it is time for her to rest. She would be the perfect dog for an active family with or without children. Marnie has shown no aggression toward other dogs so far. She has shown interest in cats, but it is still uncertain whether she wants to simply say hello or chase them.
