Reese's Story...
Reese is a friendly, sweet, loving and fun, 20-pound, six-month-old, female, white and tan Beagle/Boxer-mix looking for a loving guardian. Reese is a happy-go-lucky, affectionate and friendly dog. This girl adores people and wants to be near them all the time. She was found as a stray in Gary, Indiana. This social butterfly loves other dogs and cats. Reese is living in a foster home where she is learning about crate-training and housebreaking. She is also working on basic training and manners and is picking up things very quickly. Reese is healthy, spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt her, please e-mail palsplace1@hotmail.com or phone her foster mom Sandi at 773-991-4004. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of Pals Place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese, a Chicago Boxer/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Beagle for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Boxer/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Beagle breeders who help with Boxer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
