Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Saturday came to us having been running lose, in heat and 'gang raped'. She was never claimed (we're never surprised). Saturday has had surgery for her prolapse, has been cleaned up, given antibiotics for her various sinus, eye and yeast infection, has been spayed and is ready for her 'furever' home! This girl is just as sweet and gentle as can be and just wants and deserves love and attention. She is approximately 6-8 months old (as of early September). She is quickly learning leash training and hand signals. Because of her sensitive eyes she should not go to a home where she will be outside in the sun all day. SATURDAY IS HEARING IMPAIRED/DEAF.
10/9/11 Update: Saturday is fabulous on a short leash and loves to run! Just make sure you stay beside her as she is afraid of shadows and thinks something/someone is approaching from behind and will get spooked. Just needs gentle touches and affection to let her know she's o.k. What a dream!!
August 2016: Saturday remains partially paralyzed in her hind legs but loves to go for long walks. She would be best as an only dog and would make a great companion. She has never lived with cats.
