Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let me introduce myself, I am Jasper, and I am a bagel. That means I am healthy, unless you put on too much cream cheese….wait….what? Oh I am not that kind of bagel. I am a bagel, a beagle/basset mix.
I have a basset snout, but from what my foster family has learned about me, my snout is all beagle. I can sniff out the critters with the best of them, and let you know with my voice I am doing so.
My foster family says it seems I was an outside dog or kenneled, since I am not really a snuggler, and won’t get up on the furniture, and just lay where ever, and ignore the soft doggy pillows. But they are teaching me that it is fun to hang out with people, and I am learning. And my foster sisters are also showing me the ropes. I have shown bursts of play with my younger foster sister.
My foster family says so far they have learned I am a sweetie, and pretty laid back, and do well in my crate. So keep an eye on me to see how I blossom, and what else my foster family learns about me until I become available for adoption in a couple of weeks.
