Hello World,
My name is Barney and I am an adorable little bichon of 15 months weighing 12 pounds. My Mom called me Barney because I am so friendly and adorable (but she doesn’t think that I am a purple tyrannosaurus, really!) Dad says I’m called Barney because I have a great imagination, can entertain myself and others! (Dad says I do this neat thing called the Bichon wave where I stand on my back legs and wave my front paws. He says that bichons are famous for that. So does that make me famous too, Dad?)
Mom says I am very sweet and cuddly, (a wonderful combination) a real gentleman and an easy boy to have around -- as I get along with just about anyone and everyone. I love my doggy foster brothers and sister (they are so neat and look like me!), ignore the kitties that share our home (they like that!) and love people. Why, I would probably even like giraffes and elephants if I met them because I am just that loving and sweet.
Even though I’m young, I’m pretty mellow. I like to play with my toys, only chew on the things Mom and Dad give me (bones and stuffed toys, please Mom and Dad) and love to ride in the car. Mom says I am really smart too– why I mastered the doggy door in one day and am already housebroken. (Dad was very impressed!) And, you should see me when I’m listening. Since I like to make people happy, I look up at their faces for direction, then figure out what I'm supposed to do next. (It's pretty easy, actually!) And in return they give me lots and lots of love. And love is my very favoritest thing in the whole wide world!
Mom says I also love to play (Chase my sister in the yard is one of my favorites) and I am so smart that I already know commands. (Mom says I even come when I am called and that’s a delight!) I also am quite content just sitting in Mom’s lap, or laying in my bed, and being petted.
As you can see from my picture, while I'm not very big I am very handsome! I am also very friendly and quite adorable too! My perfect home will have people around most of the time – and another FurKid. Having a special person I can love and adore, and a doggy buddy, is what I want most in the world!
