This beautiful girl is Nadia. Nadia was adopted from us 3 years ago and recently returned when her owners moved away and left her behind. She was originally saved from a farm in Missouri that had several Pyrenees that the farmer was going to shoot. She is a wonderful dog and all that come in contact with her, fall in love with her. She was limping a bit when she came in so we had her hips x-rayed, and luckily she does not have hip displasia. She has a little arthritis due to ACL injuries that were never taken care of. Surgery now would not be worth it. She will need a Glucosamine/Condroiten combo for the rest of her life, but hey, you can take your pills together in the morning. Do not miss out on this gentle giant and the rewarding experience of giving her a wonderful home. Nadia's adoption fee is $100.00 which includes spay, vaccinations, micro chip transfer and one bottle of gluc/cont pills.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nadia Courtesy Post, a Bloomington Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
