found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Coy and Joy are purebred American Shorthair girls in an uncommon coloration known as “smoke,” which means that each hair is pale near the root but heavily tipped with color, creating a unique and elegant effect, especially when the cat is in motion. They are a stunningly beautiful bonded pair and must be adopted together. As you can see from their pictures, they are almost mirror images of one another.
When these two arrived at their foster home a few months ago, Coy would not come out of her kennel (hence her name). But after a couple of days, she decided she needed to come out and enjoy the world. She is still more reserved than her sister, but both girls love attention, belly rubs, and sleeping on the bed. When their foster mom comes home from work, they always greet her at the door, hoping for attention and the first luxurious belly rubs of the evening.
They are pretty special cats. They are low maintenance and require very little brushing. Sometimes when they hear new voices, they will leave the room, but they do warm up. They have a sweet disposition but need to go to a quiet home, without children or dogs.
Coy and Joy were in need of dentals when they arrived, but now they are ready for their new home. They are healthy and litterbox perfect.
The Smoke Sisters are fostered in Elk Grove.
