Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, Stanford here. I’m a red tick bagel - that’s beagle/basset mix. I’m a bigger boy, but foster mom says that means there is more to love. What I love is curling up next to her & getting belly rubs. What I don’t love is going in the crate. I get a yummy treat when I go in, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. I’m not 100% potty trained, so foster mom says I can’t be loose when she isn’t home; besides, all the dogs here go in one & we’re all in the same room. I do get to sleep in the big bed at night, though.
I’m a pretty mellow guy. I like to be outside with the other dogs, but I have learned to use the doggie door, so when foster mom goes inside, I follow her. Actually, I like to follow her where ever she goes. I get a little grumpy when another dog tries to interfere with my one-on-one time with her, but we’re working on that.
Usually I’m very quiet. I only bark when the neighbor dogs are too loud or if I hear a siren close by. I walk pretty well on a leash - I stop to sniff a little, but I am part beagle after all! I really like riding in the car. I just sit back & watch the world go by. I get excited when the leash comes out, because that means we are either going for a walk or a car ride.
If you want a big boy who’s a “love bug” then I’m the one for you. Just contact the good folks at BREW & tell them you want Stanford.
