You'd never guess that sweet and affectionate 8-month old Aiko had such a rough start in life. Abandoned as a pup with severe skin infections, she has healed up beautifully. Aiko is on track to weigh 60+ pounds and appears to be a Lab mix with perhaps some Husky or other Northern breed. She knows her basic commands but will need formal training.

Due to her size and strength, an adult adopter or a family with older children would be preferable, especially one with another good-natured and playful dog. Aiko is used to lots of human and canine companionship and needs to be a cherished, full-fledged family member who is kept socially and physically active.
