Maddy's Story...
Maddy is a beagle/hound mix who is pure muscle and loves her walks and her stuffed animals (which she treats like babies.) She adores people and loves the attention they bestow upon her. She will throw herself up against you and look at you with a "hug-me-love-me" expression on her face. She loves to frolic in the snow--and eat it, too! Maddy is housebroken.

Adoptive Status: Spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm tested, and will micro-chipped prior to adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her.

Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddy, a Waldorf Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
