Hi! My name is Kiki! I was rescued from a shelter just in time. I was on the list to be euthanized because the shelter ran out of space and I ran out of time. I am a little confused because my owners took very good care of me and trained me well, but they decided not to keep me and I don't understand why. Lucky for me, I have an upbeat, bright-eyed, cheerful personality. Nothing gets me down. I am a happy girl in general. All I really want is to love, love, love and, of course, I love to make my people happy! No one knows what my breed combo is but we're guessing retriever mix. I am about 3 years old and I'm pretty calm, well trained and mellow. I don't jump up on people when greeting them, but I do like to crawl in your lap to cuddle. I DEFINITELY love other dogs. They are fun to play with and they are very funny to me too! I think I have an old soul. I'm kind and gentle. Cats don't bother me much. The type of family I'm looking for is one that will love me forever no matter what! I would enjoy having a canine playmate, but more than anything, I want a family and someone to love for life. I weigh about 50 lbs and I'm spayed, vaccinated and ready to go. Adoption fee: $75.

And, join us Saturday, November 5th for the Fur Bowl for Pets at Five Star Lanes, 2666 Metropolitan Parkway, Sterling Heights, from 1 to 4 p.m. as we bowl to raise money for homeless pets. $20 per person for three games, shoe rental, pizza and pop. Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
