Meet Esme: a sweet quiet little apple-head chihuahua girl. She is about 5 years old, 6 lbs, with a "wolf-colored" hide. Esme is already spayed and is about to receive an update on her shots. She is a bit shy but is a very sweet girl who just needs some love and attention. She walks on a leash obediently, but not enthusiastically, since she spent her outdoor time in a back yard and she was never taken for walks. Her foster parents are working with her, so she can trust again. Esme is receptive and allowed her foster mom to bathe her the very first night she was rescued! This little girl is good with other dogs, even though a few months ago she had an encounter with a large dog and was bitten.
