Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chelsea is a very beautiful, timid, happy and loyal, 11-month-old, 40-pound, female, pit bull terrier/hound-mix looking for a loving guardian. Sadly, Chelsea was born to a pit bull mom at Chicago Animal Care & Control. Growing up in a cage, Chelsea didn’t get a lot of socialization with people at an early age. She loves other dogs and they bring out the best in her. So, Chelsea is looking for a home with another dog and with humans willing to be patient with her as she adjusts to a new lifestyle. When she gets to know you, she is full of kisses, very fun and playful. Chelsea is an obedience school graduate, sits on command and takes treats very gently from your fingers. She is a regular at doggie daycare, is very well-socialized with dogs, and loves the exercise she gets. She is housebroken, crate-trained, and good with cats too! Chelsea is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Chelsea, please contact her foster parents Lisa and Mike at l8mills@aol.com or 773-278-4339. Her adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued dogs of Lake Shore Animal Shelter.
