Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Anna, a two-year old female St. Bernard. Anna was found as a stray with a companion St. Bernard in Wellsville, KS in December 2006. Both were underweight, in poor physical condition, and both had apparently had recent litters of puppies. Anna’s history is unknown, but she knows how to sit, come, and lay down, and she walks nicely on a leash. Anna is now in a foster home with two other dogs, and it is apparent that she is a people lover!
Anna is a beautiful example of her breed and has a good-natured temperament. She will be an extraordinary companion to a family who can provide a suitable home. Because of her size and her tendency toward pack dominance, she needs a family with no other dogs, or with a medium-sized submissive dog. She has not yet been tested with cats. She is the queen of all she surveys, so without a tall privacy fence, she will quickly add all of your neighbors’ yards to her realm. And because she is a working breed, daily exercise is a must!
Anna continues to put on weight. At 99 pounds, she could use another 10 to 20 to be at her ideal weight. Anna is currently up-to-date on her vaccinations, including being spayed.
