Lenny's Story...
Meet Lenny! Lenny and Squiggy were abandoned by their people and now they are being fostered in Georgia. They have become quite attached to each other and can only be adopted together. These gorgeous boys were born on 6/15/11. At 4.5 months, Lenny weighs 28 lbs, he is the slightly larger and taller of the two boys. Lenny is super sweet, and when he needs attention he will be sure to let you know! Quite honestly, all you'll really have to do is look at that face and you'll all be ready to cuddle! If you want to adopt Lenny and Squiggy, please email val@sweetadoptables.org for an application. Full vetting, neuter and boarding while he waits for his ride included in his $250 adoption fee. Transport is an additional $125. Of course we are not sure what his true mix is, but we are certain he will make a wonderful family member. Lenny is STILL IN GEORGIA and will not be transported until he has an approved adopter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Westport Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei for sale in Westport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
