Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello World,
My name is Herbie and I’m a darling, handsome and happy little bichon boy of eight (and almost 15 pounds soaking wet) who smiles (yes I do!) and talks! (Mom says I’m very communicative!) She says I’m a love – and that, in turn, I love everyone! I love short people and tall people, young people and older people and other furkids and cats, too! Mom says I simply love and adore everyone -- and that I’m extremely loveable.
Dad says I’m also very playful. You see I have these stuffed animals.... I like to chew on them and play tug-of-war – and I like to play chase! And be chased! Sometimes I even run around pretending someone is chasing me when they’re not. Dad says that I’m ‘exercising’ and he says I’m as cute, and fast, as can be.
Mom says she loves the way I lie quietly and contentedly next to her while she works on her computer or stops to read a book. She says I’m a major cuddler. And she says to tell you I am very smart. Why I know how to use the doggy door (I watch Mom go through the big people’s door then I go through my small furkid door) and I know commands like sit and come. Like Mom said, I’m smart and I want to please you!.
It doesn’t seem possible but... I’m about to lose my Mom and my home. It’s not Mom’s fault and she’s very sad that she cannot continue to take care of me – so, with a heavy heart, she asked the Auntie’s at Bichon FurKids to help me find my forever home.
Mom says that I would love to have at least one doggy brother or sister in my forever home. She says to tell you I’m as handsome as I am gentle... and as mellow as I am cuddly. While I seem to have it all, the one thing that I’m missing is my very own forever family who will love me and care for me always. If that sounds like you please complete our adoption application.
Just ask for me by the name Mom calls me…. Handsome and Huggable Herbie.
Love,
HHH
