Doron's Story...
Doron, 12 week old, Male Russian Blue mix

Doron, which is Greek for gift, is a very special kitten. He perks up as soon as a person enters the room. He always desires to be petted and held. He loves to snuggle up to your neck and give you little head butts. He shows you how happy he is to see you. He is a real treasure and would be a wonderful gift for a pet loving family.
He is also a very playful guy, and loves to chase his brother (Christos) and sister (Chara) around the room. Watching the three of them play is real entertainment! They jump sideways at each other with their backs arched and hair on end. It's hilarious to watch. He also enjoys the six foot tall scratching post. Climbing is an entertaining sport for Doron. If he was a human, I think he would be a mountain climber! He gets along well with other cats, and he likes our old Cocker Spaniel too.

Doron will come to you neutered, tested, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and litterbox perfect.

Contact Laurie at (916) 966-3230 or lcocal@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions and please fill in an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doron, a Davis Russian Blue kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Davis, or seeking a Russian Blue kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
