KITTENS's Story...
Recently, a local rescuer found seven adorable kittens living with their mother behind a meat shop in Somerville. Once the rescuer realized how friendly the mother was, she brought the family inside. We have named these playful kittens after the Seven Dwarfs: Grumpy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Happy, Bashful, Dopey, and Doc. Five of the kittens are black and white, one is all black with striking dark green eyes, and one is a little tiger tabby. The Seven Dwarfs are currently being fostered in North Oxford Ma, they are all getting over a cold and will be up for adoption in the near future. Adoption fee is $175.00, or $300.00 for a pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KITTENS, a Worcester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
