Evie's Story...
Hi, I'm Evie! I am about 8 years old as of 12/3/11. I was found at the Summer Hill Apartments in Middletown where a bunch of mean kids were beating me with sticks. Because of my horrible past, I can be a little crabby at times. But can't we all? I've been at Catales for a very long time waiting patiently for my forever home. I have not given hope yet! I am very sweet and affectionate when I am in the mood. I'd would love to sit on your lap and be held when I'm in the mood as well. I'll let you know when I'm feeling cranky so you know I need my space and to leave me alone for a bit. I have the neatest tail...it almost looks like a flat paintbrush. I'm not really sure why I haven't found my forever home yet since I am very lovable and a good girl. I'd prefer a home without any other cats or dogs so I can get all of the attention to myself. I tend to stay in the laundry room at Catales because being around so many cats overwhelms me. Please adopt me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Evie, a Middletown Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
