Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is one handsome dude. He is about 1.5 years old and was dumped at the shelter when his owners decided they no longer wanted him. Ziggy was never part of the family anyway as they kept him outside. So he is now learing what it is like to be in the house, staying warm and being part of the family. He is a sweat boy like that has decided he loves attention. He does well with all dogs, including the little ones and ignores the cats. We are working with his house training but he is learning many things now and will quickly pick this up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
