My name is Vance!

Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for adoption in Torrance, California - Vance

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Vance's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Vance's Story...
Vance is an 18 month old male neutered black lab. He had an injured leg when he was found. He was on our SCLRR dogs in need page for a few months. He has undergone surgery and now has a plate in his leg. He is all recovered now and ready for his forever home.
Vance is approximately 80# and rather tall. He is friendly with people and dogs.

Due to the length of his bed rest period, he does have some anxiety when put in a crate. He would prefer to be loose in the house and has not exhibited any destructive tendencies (other than toys). :)

He has undergone some basic training and is very good with basic commands. He is energetic and excitable. If you are looking for a fun addition to the family, look no further

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vance, a Torrance Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
