Jaycee's Story...
Jaycee is a little sweetheart rescued from a kill shelter and brought to safety. Her foster folks think she is just a doll. Jaycee is about 11 weeks old and weighs 16 lbs. Don't let her shy act fool you upon meeting her, she is very happy to meet everyone, play with you and all dogs, and then becomes shy when it's time to cuddle. She is very smart and already beginning to be house trained. Jaycee is a beautiful girl but we really can't be certain what her true mix is. If you would like to adopt Jaycee, please email val@sweetadptables.org for an application. Vetting and boarding while she waits to come home included in her $275 adoption fee. Transport to the north costs $120.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaycee, a Westport Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd for sale in Westport, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
