Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ARISTOTLE
3-5 yo Mitted Tabby & White Maine Coon
We found Aristotle while we were wandering around down at Cat House on the Kings (CHOTK). Out of nearly 700 cats, this boy really caught our attention. He is super affectionate, and would stand up and touch our legs to get us to pay attention to him. The area he comes from sees many purebred cats in the local shelters. Most of the adults are euthanized because no one wants "older" cats. Older seems to be anything over a year down there! So, he won the cat lottery and got to live safely at CHOTK. As nice as he is, though, they were happy to let him go into one of our foster homes to see if we could find him a great forever home. This cat deserves one on one time. Aristotle will have a lovely coat. It looks a little ratty right now from living outside, and he's shedding for the summer. Once we get him wormed again, and put him on our super healthy diet, he's going to look like a show cat. We expect him to have the nice full mane, and he already has nice markings. Other Maine Coon features are his beautiful head structure, good set to the ears, big feet, and a gentle personality. He has nice feathering of the ears, and very rich green eyes. Aristotle's personality matches his looks. Stellar! He is a nice lap kitty, pillow cat, or computer buddy. He's not obnoxious, just companionable. We'd like him to go to a home without a lot of pets so that he doesn't get pushed to the side for attention. As polite as he is, some of the more greedy cats push him away. Aristotle has quickly learned about litter boxes and seems to be thrilled with life as an indoor only cat. He does enjoy napping on the screen porch in his foster home, so if you have a safe garden or sun room, he might really appreciate that environment.
