My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ziva is a 5 month old Red Persian Mix. Her mother was a purebred Persian.

"Hi there. My name is Ziva. I’m the pretty red girl and the brown mitted tabby boy is my brother Zylo. Our Mom is a purebred CFA registered Persian. No, really she is a tabby Persian named Friendly and you can see her on the adopted page on row 50. I am told we popped out soon after our Mom came to rescue. We are living it up in our foster home and we romp around the house playing our day away. It’s fun here with our foster brothers and sisters, but it would be even better if we could get a home of our very own where we get ALL the people attention. Foster Mom says that I’m her sweet little lap kitty. I really do like to cuddle and love, but when I’m playing with my brother I am quite the tomboy. Zylo might be bigger than me, but I can out run, out climb, and out jump him any day. I also REALLY like to play with my toys too. I run around with them in my mouth pretending I’m a mighty cheetah. Foster mom thinks it’s just adorable when I talk, chirp and coo at my toys as I run around with them in my mouth.

Zylo and I are best friends as well as brother and sister. We play chase, wrestle, sleep together and groom each other. The only way we will even consider leaving our foster Mom, is if we can go together. So, if you are looking for two high energy, crazy, loving, beautiful, kitties to adopt, then we are the kids for you."

Zylo and Ziva were born in their foster home shortly after their mother was surrendered to rescue along with about 20 other Persians by a retiring CFA registered breeder. It seems the mother was purchased from the breeder and quickly returned for “fighting” with the male cats in the house. You can see more pictures of the kittens and their Momma when clicking on the photo link. Ziva looks nothing like her Momma, but she has the most beautiful and striking markings that this foster Mom has ever seen (OK, so I’m a little biased). She has three stripes running down her head and back, with spots on her side, and distinctive rings around her tail and legs. She is also a rare red female (80% of all red cats are males). Ziva really enjoys being with her special person when she is not playing with her brother. Both kittens are VERY rambunctious. They would do best in a home with no young children due their antics. They MUST be adopted together. They are being fostered in Sacramento. If are ready to make a life time commitment to these two special babies, CALL Kimber at 530-902-2710.
