Mulligan's Story...
"Mulligan came into foster with his identical twin, Max, and the rest of his litter after being rescued from the animal shelter. Some of his litter mates have found their forever homes, but Mulligan, Max and their sister Matilda are still waiting.
Mulligan is a very affectionate boy, who still believes that he is a little kitten. He loves to play tumble with his twin Max, and enjoys exploring every nook in his foster home. Although he is an indoor kitty he loves to be outside in the enclosed area where he can chase the leaves and the sunshine. He would love to find a home with his brother Max, but could be happy to have a home by himself also!"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mulligan, a Bedford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
