Mu-Shu's Story...
OUR DOGS GET ADOPTED QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING ANY OF OUR RESCUE DOGS, PLEASE SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.lovebugsrescue.org

We found Mu-Shu on a recent trip to the Downey shelter. This one year old, 12 pound, pure bred Shih-Tzu was extremely filthy and her coat was painfully matted all the way down to her skin. With lots of patience and love from her foster mom, we were able to gently remove the mats and retain much of her luxurious coat.

Mu-Shu is a happy little gal who is excited to have a second chance at a wonderful new life. She walks well on leash, gets along well with other dogs and is doing great with potty training. Mu-Shu will do well in a home that is on the calm side and will do well with or without another four-legged family member. She is a good natured little girl and is looking to finding her forever family.

Our adoption fee for Mu-Shu is $250 and includes her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms, professional grooming and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mu-Shu, a Irvine Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
