My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m an extremely happy young guy and looking for a fun-loving family to be extremely loyal to. I am happy to treat my crate as my home when you’re away and while sleeping at night and I always potty outside, either in a yard or on a walk. Oh, I love to go for long walks and I’m really good on the leash. I don’t pull, despite sometimes being distracted by my Beagle nose, and I can walk all day. While I’m great on the leash, you shouldn’t let me go off leash because my instincts get the best of me and I run.

I have no problem meeting other dogs. In fact, I can be submissive when I first meet other dogs and I never bark. Seriously, my foster parents have yet to hear me bay. But around my foster sisters I’m not so shy. I just want to run and play and follow them and try to keep up. I’m a pretty go-go-go kinda guy, very curious, but when it’s time to settle down, I just want to be by your side and sleep soundly (well, maybe not so soundly, I am kind of a snore puppy).

I’m still pretty skinny, but I’m a good eater, pretty indiscriminate. I don’t wolf down my food; I prefer to savor my dinner. But I will want to check out what you’re having for dinner and may reach for the counters, so my foster parents just keep their food out of reach. I’m still pretty intent on working out my puppy teeth by chewing on things, but my foster parents got me some chew toys and I’m more than happy to focus on those items. And not to toot my own horn, but I’m a pretty darn handsome guy, so you’ll look good walking down the street with me.
