Odie's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and good with dogs.

Odie's Story...
Odie is looking for a good home, one that will love him and always have his best interest in mind. He was left by his family with an acquaintence, and when his family never returned for him, the acquaintence took him to the shelter.

He's doing pretty well considering everything he has been through. Odie is a sweet boy who loves having his belly rubbed and taking walks. He enjoys his meals (big surprise) and has not yet turned down a treat.

Unfortunately, due to past neglect, Odie was allowed to become flea infested, resulting in allergic dermititis. The good news is that the vet says that he is healing and with a continued good diet and a lot of TLC, he will continue to heal and his hair will grow back. We're expecting improvement within the month. When that treatment is through, he'll need a thorough dental.

Odie is a good boy. He enjoys affection from the household humans and the resident dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odie, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
