My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tokidoki
1.5 year old Male Chocolate Point Ragdoll

Okidoki! Artichoki! Hold your horses! Yes, it is true! I can go to only one new home, and I am all fired up to find the right one.

Yes, I know I am about the handsomest thing since sliced bread. Wait--sliced bread isn’t handsome, so how about this: I am “one HOT tamale,” as my foster mom would say!

Yes, I am pretty gorgeous, but that’s not all I have to offer. When I am not sleeping—yes, like most Ragdolls, I can be quite the lounge lizard--I am pretty purrrsistant about getting into your lap for a cuddle. I am also fond of purring--right into your face, if you please--because I know humans really like that. Attention is my ultimate goal.

What? You can’t possibly mean to ignore me. I won’t have it! I can and will win you over. Feel my very soft, fluffy coat as I brush against you. Look into my mesmerizing blue eyes. Oooh and ahhhh over me, and take note of my vocal talents. (Not all Ragdolls are vocal, but I am. You need to get your point across if you want anything in this world.)

I do not love to be brushed, but I also do not need brushing very often. Best to take advantage of a moment when I don’t have other things on my mind.

So yes, I am available. What else can I tell you…

• I love to wander through your legs when you are walking, so I probably shouldn’t go to a home with someone who might trip over me.
• Like many kittens—Ragdolls aren’t really grownups until about the age of four--I can be a bit mouthy when I play, so maybe it would be better for me not to live with rowdy little kids.
• I am not sure if I like dogs yet, so let’s not go there at the moment.
• Another friendly cat would be okay. (I’m living with other cats now.)

So that about wraps it up. No, wait—one more thing. My name, Tokidoki, means “sometimes” in Japanese, but if you take me home, you’ll need to love me for always, okay? If you are interested in meeting me, let my foster mom know.

Tokidoki is fostered in Davis.
