My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I picked Harley as a Beagle, because of how friendly he is and how much he loves to be cuddled, and I pictured a dalmation because he's black and white too! But he's really just a very cute bunny rabbit who needs a home.
Breed: Purebred Dutch rabbit Size: About 4-5 pounds Color: Black and white Approximate DOB: January 2005 Personality: Harley is a new addition, but from what I can tell, he is a complete darling! When he first got here, I opened the cage, he crawled into my lap, tucked his head under my arm and just laid there. Apparently his old mom says he would sit on her lap for hours while she would watch TV! So he is truly a cuddlebunny! He LOVES to be pet, and he is very calm. He can be skittish when he is out exploring, as in, when he's out, he doesn't really want to be bothered until he decides that he wants to be pet (then he'll come up and nudge you). He has never shown any signs of agression though at all. Special Needs: None that I can tell, his mom said he has had no medical problems and was neutered when she got him. Harley needs an understanding owner, as he can sometimes forget himself and poo in the house (just to "mark" his territory as all bunnies do when they scatter a little bit of poo), but he has never peed outside his cage. And bunny waste is very easily cleaned (just little dry pellets) and does not stain at all Friends: There is a good possibility that he would be good with other rabbits. He is absolutely fascinated by mine, and has not shown any sign of agression. He could definitely be paired up with another rabbit (as with all other bunnies, this must be done slowly and carefully to avoid injury). Ideal home: Ideally, Harley should go to an adult only home, or a home with older children (over 12). He is very skittish around small children and can be nervous around loud noises. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage. Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (email for the application), and approved by me. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see him, and then a home visit is also required after that. Suggested adoption donation is $25 (I did not have to neuter him, so his fee is less).
