Maisy's Story...
Maisy is a 4 yr old lab/austrailan shepherd mix. She was an owner surrender due to moving. Maisy has a very sweet personaility and is a loving dog. She really enjoys going on daily walks and playing frisbee in the yard. She is housebroken and behaves well when left alone in the house when the owner is gone. She is used to being left for 8 hours at a time. She sleeps on the bedroom floor. She loves people and gets along with other dogs and cats. She is VERY obedient. She knows come, stay, sit, and down. Maisy is tired of being moved around and wants a stable, forever home of her own.
Maisy is microchipped, spayed & up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maisy, a Cincinnati Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
