My name is “ TAMMY”, and I was born sometime in the fall of 2011 . I am a very HAPPY cat who is looking for a forever home. I was very skinny when I was rescued but now I am eating well and have gained a little weight. I hope the weight doesn’t make me look older, because I still play and act like a kitten! I am very sweet, LOVE to be pet and sit on my foster’s Mom lap. I love windows too! I also get alone very well with other cats of all ages. I don’t know anything about dogs, but if someone properly introduces me to one, I think I will be OK with that. Tammy is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped.

Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.

Out of state adoptions require additional time pending our officers approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption approval.
