Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a 3-4 yr. old sweetheart who loves loves loves children! He does fantastic in social settings, is house trained, leash trained, fetches, rides well in the car, is well behaved in dog parks and on walks/jogs. He will do well with an active couple or family who can walk him and play with him every day, but he also loves to cuddle in bed! Because of Charlie's long hair, it's important that he be brushed often.

Charlie's been living at PDR for 2 1/2 years as one of our furry ambassadors and goes to all public events with us. Charlie's current on his shots, and is neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Arenas Valley Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese for sale in Arenas Valley, or seeking a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Arenas Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arenas Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arenas Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese breeders who help with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arenas Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
