Mickey is our 6-7 year old, Black Lab mix that is available for adoption. She loves to be active, and has had so much fun going on fun day adventures with our volunteers. Mickey is housebroken, loves to ride in the car, enjoys swimming and fetching toys. She loves people and just wants to be your best friend and join in some fun outdoor activities!
Mickey loves to be able to hang out or get out for some fun with our shelter staff and volunteers. She walks pretty good on leash, and for her safety she will need to be kept on a leash for walks and hikes as she wants to chase after cars in the road and wildlife in the woods. She is super smart and will benefit from a new owner that has experience with dog handling and training skills.
We have tested Mickey around other dogs, cats and children. She will need a home where she will be the only pet (no dogs, cats or small animals please) and is best behaved around children 8 years and older.
Mickey is already spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for Heartworm and Lyme disease and microchipped.
