Addison's Story...
Addison on was found running in the streets and was almost hit by a car. No one seemed to care but luckily a lady was nice enough to stop and save her. Addison came right over to the woman, wagged her tail and jumped in her car. No one wanted this poor girl, so we took her in so she would not end up in the shelter and eventually euthanized. Addison was in bad shape, skinny, and missing hair all over her body. A skin scrape was done on Addison which came back negative so it was probably just years of neglect. She also was heartworm tested negative and had a full blood panel and urinalysis done which was all normal. We have her on a special diet and she is getting medicated baths. Now her skin looks great and her hair is all growing back in. Addison loves people and kids, and anyone who will give her attention. She is good with other dogs and loves her walks and pets. She is about 4 years old and about 50 pounds. Addison would love to find her forever home where she will have everything she deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Addison, a San Pedro American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
