Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jeremy. 7 month old purebred Scottish Fold. Ticked Tabby & white.
Jeremy is a purebred Scottish Fold, although he could pass for an
American Shorthair. The Folds are often outcrossed with American
Shorthairs to produce the nice round faces and to keep the gene pools
healthy. You cannot cross a Folded cat with a Folded cat, or you get
some really bad gene mutations. So, there are often beautiful "folds"
that aren't folded. Jeremy's human mother got sick and could no
longer care for her kitties. So, he and five other cats had to come
to Rescue. We are especially glad that Jeremy made it to us. In an
animal shelter, no one would know what he was, and he would be at
extreme risk of being passed over for Rescue and then euthanized! He
is such a shy little boy, people wouldn't even look at him.
Thankfully, Jeremy made it to Rescue and is now in a safe foster
home. He's not going to have to live in a cage, and he won't be
killed! Jeremy's foster mommy says he's already doing much better.
So, don't hesitate to put in an application. By the time you read
this bio, fill out an app and get over to meet him, he'll be ready to
greet you at the door and jump into your loving arms. Fostered in the
Sacramento area.
