My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koda’s Foster Home is located in Middleburg, Florida

Koda is a gorgeous, black and red, male, German shepherd. He is 3 years old and his birthday is January 9, 2009. Koda is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Koda was an owner surrender because former owner had to move into an apartment and could not financially care for Koda, therefore released him into our Rescue. We have Koda’s complete medical background as well as some of his puppy pictures.

When I had initially met Koda he was stand offish and scared, it took him about 3 days to get used to me and the rest of the Pack and he has now completely won my heart. He is such a good boy and always makes me smile. Koda will need someone experienced with fearful, German shepherds. He needs to know you are in charge and won’t be afraid of him if he acts inappropriately. Koda is good with other dogs but will do best with submissive dogs or being around dogs that won’t challenge him. Not sure how he is with cats but has been around small dogs. Older children are preferred and this is again due to his fear issues. Once Koda feels comfortable with the family and regular visitors he is a sweetie pie. He is crate trained but becomes very anxious when left alone. Not sure how he will be out of the crate when running errands we have him crated because of our other Rescues. He would do great with someone that can spend lots of time with him.

If you would like to provide Koda with a forever home he most certainly deserves or need additional information Please Email:luvgermansheps@yahoo.com

An application needs to be completed prior to a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.

Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior before final adoption.
