Hi everybody!
My name is Davey and I’m 7 ½ pounds of sweetness and curiosity in the form of a very cute pup. I’m social, loving, gentle and sweet. In other words I’m a great little guy with a huge heart and a joyful spirit.
Before I became a furkid I was in something called an accident! It was me and this thing called a car. I was lucky because only my jaw got hurt – but I never, ever complained! When my aunties at BFK heard about me they scooped me up! The nice doctor did an operation so that I would be able to use my jaw again (like every active little guy should!) The vet said I was, and am, a real trouper – and Dad agrees! I’m on the mend and soon I’ll be 100% better. But, believe me, I am already a 1000% loveable furkid!
Dad says to tell you that I love everybody, big people and little people alike -- and that I’m especially gentle and loving with children. I'm great with other dogs and love nothing more than to run with my doggy foster brother. Why, I even get along with dogs that are five to ten times my size! (That's most of the dogs in the world I think!)
My most favorite thing in the whole wide world is... you guessed it: cuddling! Mom and Dad agree that I would win the prize for being a cuddlebug. (Aw gee, Mom and Dad. I’m not a bug at all…. I’m a little bichon boy!) They said if you show me a lap I will curl up in it and immediately, and happily, go to sleep. Why I can nap anywhere – on a lap or a blanket – or on the couch! At night I curl up quietly in my crate and go to sleep. Some day in my forever home I’d like to sleep in the Big People’s bed!
Dad says I like to go for walks, rides in the car and to run and play. Once I’m all healed I can play with my toys again. In the meantime I think every day is a great day just to ‘be’ – and I make the most of it!
Mom says I will do best in a home that has another furkid for me to play with and someone who is home most of the day. I’m a great companion and a pretty special little boy.
