Aussie's Story...
Aussie found himself at the Orange County Animal Shelter with no mommy or daddy in sight. Shelter life was no match for this adorable ACD 3 month old puppy. Now safe in a foster home, Aussie is learning the ropes and enjoying the company of other dogs and humans alike. Aussie is going to make an excellent companion for the true ACD lover! Aussie is currently about 6 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aussie, a Irvine Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
