Buster Brown is a handsome, sensitive, playful and yet protective, five-year-old Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian. Buster Brown loves to play with other dogs, loves car rides and field trips. Buster Brown is a dog that actually does better outside the home than he does inside. He gets quite anxious in the home when there is too much commotion, too many people, sudden movements, loud noises … and he hates being crated. So, he’s do best in an adult only, dog-experienced home with possibly another dog to hang out and play with. Before an adoption is completed, applicants are most welcome to bring their dog/s to Save-A-Pet to meet Buster Brown to see how they get along. To meet and possibly adopt Buster Brown, please contact the Save-A-Pet shelter at adoptions@saveapetil.org or 847.740.7788. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued dogs of Save-A-Pet. He is now healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. You can meet Buster Brown and all the other Save-A-Pet residents at the adoption center at 31664 N. Fairfield Rd., in Grayslake, Illinois, on Monday and Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, Thursday from 1:00 to 8:00 pm, or Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
