Henry's Story...
Henry is a playful and personable, two-year-old, 27-pound, male Lhasa/Shih Tzu-mix looking for a loving guardian. Henry loves all other dogs, going for car rides, and walks well on leash. He is best in a home with children over ten years of age, and without cats. Henry knows how to sit on command, is crate-trained and working on his housebreaking. He is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Henry’s adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Stana at recycled.pits@gmail.com or 312-320-0455.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Chicago Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
