Oscar's Story...
Oscar may not be the cutest cat but he is the most lovable. His hair is as soft as a rabbits coat. He like to be held, rubbed, combed and talked to. He is front declawed and very gentle. He is litter box trained. He goes fine around dogs and other cats. He loves to play with his toys and chase balls. Oscar has big bright yellow eyes. His ears are deformed from having untreated earmites but he does not let that bother is personality at all. Would you give Oscar a chance and come visit him. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Bedford American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
