Foxie Lady's Story...
Foxie Lady
3 year old Calico Persian
Regular adoption fee: see below

Foxie Lady was found on the streets wandering as a stray. She has now found her way to rescue and is looking for her forever home. She is one of those great cats that would fit into any type of home. She is good with other animals and kids. Foxie is really not bothered by anything, she can adapt to most environments. She is a petite girl, at only 4lbs. Unique coloring as you can see in the picture, half her face is black and one leg is white with the other orange. She is very outgoing and friendly. Doesn't take any time to adjust to new places, she fits in anywhere she goes...not picky at all! She does want to be with her family all the time and likes to follow you around the house. When you get home, Foxie will be the first to greet you and she will want to hear all about your day. She is always up for snuggling or playing as long as she is able to spend time with you. Foxie is new to rescue but we don't expect her to be here long with her good looks and great personality. She is ready and eagerly waiting to meet you!

Foxie is being fostered in the Sacramento area. Contact Bonnie at bonnie_blu@ymail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxie Lady, a Davis Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
