My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fincy. 8 yo female Shaded Silver Tabby Persian.
Fincy is our little Russian Princess. She traveled all the way from
Russia to live with an elderly woman and her maid. She spent 8 years
living in the lap of luxury and travelling the world, but when "the
elderly woman" had to go to a care home, she took beautiful Fincy to
her vet to be euthanized. Now that's true love for you, don't you
think?
Thankfully, Fincy's vet refused to euthanize this lovely girl. They
called our friends at Persian & Himalayan Cat Rescue
(www.persiancats.org) who raced to get her. Fincy was very depressed
and not doing well in a multicat environment. We happened to have a
foster space in a very quiet home, so PHCR helped get her to us.
Fincy is doing great in her new foster home. She was already out
exploring after just three hours of arriving. She definitely knows
the sound of a can of wet food being opened. That got her moving. She
is also still a bit of a diva. She is a little concerned that having
a few more cats around will impeded upon her servant's ability to
wait on her. We're sure she'll figure out that she's hit the jackpot
soon.
Fincy is a very pretty girl, in great shape, with all vet records. We
do want to work on her coat a bit and return it to it's full glory.
She is a very light silver, almost a chinchilla coat color. Her eyes
are a greenish gold, depending upon what light she's in.
