My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BELLA DONNA
5 year old Female Chocolate Tortie Persian
Regular adoption fee: see below

This teeny tiny heartthrob was surrendered to us by her owner, who told us she was outgoing with people and sociable with other cats. Then why….never mind. We welcomed this beautiful kitty with open arms.
Just look at her. With her soft colors—chocolate mousse with dabs of apricot—and soulful green eyes, she is as exquisite as she is unusual. And she has a personality to match: affectionate and sweet, she follows her foster mom around the house and curls up on the couch for TV time. She gets along beautifully with other cats but would also be happy in a home with one or two humans focused entirely on her.
Of course, she will need a few days to settle into a new home, and if there are other cats, introductions must always be handled carefully, but this is not a cat who will hide in the closet for a week or be aloof for months.
Like all Persians, she will need to eat from a flat dish, luxuriate in a daily brushing, and have the occasional face wash to wipe away any drainage from her eyes. She will want to be part of your life, watching you as you fold laundry, gazing up with those huge green eyes as you fix your hair in the morning. And of course, she will want cuddle time. Lullabies too, and it doesn’t matter whether you can carry a tune or not.
We have not seen Bella Donna interact with children or dogs, but as tiny and delicate as she is, we want to make sure she will be in surroundings where everyone is gentle. We suspect that a limited ingredient diet would be best for her; talk to her foster mom about what she is eating now and how to choose an appropriate food.
Bella Donna is micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative. She has had a dental cleaning and a full blood panel showing no health issues.
Are you ready to spend the next ten to fifteen years doting on this princess?
Bella Donna is fostered in Lodi.
