Tabitha's Story...
Tabitha is a five year old female Tabby/Tortie with beautiful soft golden eyes. Her ear went untreated for ear mites before we rescued her which caused her ear to have a slight fold. Her ear fold gives her some character, don't you think? She is very relaxed and mellow. She starts to purr and meow as soon as she sees or hears you. Loves to be petted, comes when you call to her, and follows you around. Very friendly, sweet and curious as to what is going on around her.

Please come see her and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in the District Shopping Center/Tustin and are looking for their foever homes. Adoptions are held every Saturday from 12-4. You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Just visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tabitha, a Irvine Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
