Hello People,
Our names are Jake and Sam. We were bought, as puppies, to become loving companions to two teenagers -- to teach them the joy of unconditional love and responsibility. You see we were bought by our Dad because he loved his children and also fell in love with us, As our ‘brother and sister’ grew up and became more involved in school and other activities, we were always there to give love, enjoy a walk or dance and wiggle for a belly rub.
All too soon they went to college, After college, our brother moved overseas and our sister went to law school. In the meantime we got to spend more time with our Dad… and when we were not with our family, we were happy to have each other! Four years ago our Dad died and Mom began working longer hours. Now we are left alone for twelve hours at a time. We are always happy to see anyone who comes to greet us, still enjoy our walks and the occasional car ride but life had changed a lot and it certainly isn’t like ‘the old times.’
Our mom knows that we are two kind and loving boys and that we deserve a better home and environment than she can now provide. She knows it is difficult for senior dogs to find a Forever Home – but living in crates all day long is also difficult. We are healthy, happy little guys for our age and have a lot more living to do. We are just looking for what we used to have - love and companionship. We ask - and are used to – so little yet despite all the stress of our current situation, we are two sweet lovable bichons who like to go for walks, rides and curl up in your lap.
